Yoga at Station Mill continues to expand and we have some new faces in the loft this month.  As we say goodbye to Flora, who has been here with us since we opened, and wish her all the best for her incredible travels, we welcome Emily Bruce & Jacqueline Escolme. Emily is a Yoga Teacher accredited from the British Wheel of Yoga and Jacqueline teaches Kundalini. Whilst we hope that Flora’s 1930 Monday Gentle Flow yoga class regulars will find a natural crossover to Emily, Jacqueline will be offering something different. 

Kundalini Yoga offered by Jacqueline is a practise that involves chanting, singing, breathing exercises, and repetitive poses. Its purpose is to activate your Kundalini energy, or shakti. This is a spiritual energy that’s said to be located at the base of your spine. Jacqueline is an Integrative Health Consultant, Self-Mastery specialist, Author and Kundalini Yoga Teacher.  Kundalini is first and foremost a healing practice; it can be used to release subconscious blocks for things like addictive behaviour, fear, and anxiety. It has been used as a tool to eradicate depression by using the body, breath, and mind to optimise your physical state. We are excited to be able to offer this practise at Station Mill. 

For our vinyasa yogi’s Jade’s Wednesday evening class is moving to the new time of 1900 and would be a great step for those who will miss Flora on the mat at 1700 on Tuesdays.  We are very excited to announce that Alex Pearce will be taking over a Candlelit Restorative Practise on Tuesday evenings at 1900. We are sure that this transition will be perfect for all those that attend the always – full candlelit yin with Flora!

Finally, this month, Natalie & Alex have put together an ‘Ultimate Workshop’.
